Return and Exchange Policy
Off the peg
All dresses are sold as seen. An exchange will only be considered within 14 days of purchase. You must present your original receipt, and the merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and have all tags attached and intact; this does not affect your statutory rights. We do not offer refunds on off the peg dresses.
Special ordered items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty. If you want to claim that merchandise you purchased is faulty (excludes alterations services) you must do so within 7 days from the date you received and took the merchandise from the store. If your product is deemed damaged or faulty by Copplestones Bridal management we will offer you a repair, exchange or a refund as appropriate, in accordance with your legal rights. Only in exceptional circumstances may we issue store credit.
We cannot be held accountable for any of the below

Change of circumstance
Care of Merchandise
Copplestones Bridal’s merchandise is created to be worn for special occasions and not for everyday wear. General wear and tear, damage or colour changes that occur with wear or improper storage will be your responsibility, not the fault of Copplestones Bridal. Please follow any advice given by Copplestones Bridal staff.
Dress Not Collected (“Abandoned Merchandise”)
30 days after your recorded event date (the wedding date you gave Copplestones Bridal), if you have not collected your merchandise for which you have paid in full, that merchandise will be considered abandoned and your rights to the merchandise will terminate. During the 30 day period after your recorded event date, Copplestones will try to contact you by phone, email and/or postal mail to request that you pick up your merchandise.
Dresses off the peg
When purchasing a dress of the peg from Copplestones we prefer the balance to be paid in full however we are happy to accept a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the value of the dress.
The remainder of the balance must be paid within 90 days of entering the purchase agreement.
If the balance is not met within 90 days of the first payment the dress will be considered abandoned merchandise
Installment payment plans at 0% are available at the discretion of a manager or senior sales member. Minimum payments and payment dates are none negotiable once agreed.
If you wish us to store your dress after the 90 days a storage fee of £40 will be charged which insures your dress against damage, loss etc whilst in our care.
Special Order Dresses
If your dress is ordered direct from the manufacturer specific to your requirements, Copplestones requires a minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total balance before the order is placed.
On arrival of your dress in store you will be notified by Copplestones by phone, email/mailing address.You have 30 days from notification to pay the remaining balance of your dress.
If the balance of your dress is not met in 30 days, the dress becomes abandoned merchandise and your rights to the merchandise will terminate.
Installment payment plans on the balance at 0% are available at the discretion of a manager or senior sales member.
Minimum payments and payment dates are none negotiable once agreed.
If you wish Copplestones to store your dress after the 30 days payment/collection period a storage fee of £40 will be charged which insures your dress against damage/loss etc whilst in our care.
Dresses may take up to 8 months to be delivered.They can arrive anytime between your initial purchase and 8 months so please be prepared to pay for your dress within 30 days of delivery in store. All special order gowns are subject to slight colour variation during manufacture. Beading and embellishment subject to slight variation during manufacture.
Amanda Wyatt Special Order Gowns
Special order Amanda Wyatt gowns have an estimated lead time of around 12-16 weeks. Wedding dates prioritised. Rush order where available.
We require a minimum non-refundable 50% deposit cash or card when placing an order for an Amanda Wyatt gown. If making use of our 0% finance payment plan, we re quire a deposit of 25% cash or card and payments can be spread over a maximum of 6 months Under no circumstances can we offer an exchange or consider a refund on special order Amanda Wyatt dresses .Additional charge over certain size. Rush order/under lead time additional charge
Amanda Wyatt Bridesmaid & Flower Girl Dresses
Special order Amanda Wyatt Bridesmaid & Flower Girl Dresses have a lead time of around 12–15 weeks. Wedding dates prioritised. Rush order where available.We require a minimum non refundable 50% deposit cash or card when placing an order.
If making use of our 0% payment plan, we require a deposit of 25% cash or card and payments can be spread over a maximum of 6 months.All bridesmaids gowns subject to slight colour variation during manufacture.
Under no circumstances can we offer an exchange or consider a refund on special order Amanda Wyatt dresses.
Rush order/under lead time additional charge. Additional costs may incur based on measurements
Special order gowns from the above designers have a lead time from date of order to 8 months. Wedding dates prioritised. No rush order available.
Special order gowns from the above designer have an estimated lead time of 5 days to 8 weeks. No rush order available.
Interest free credit
Interest free credit is available on purchases over £500, subject to credit check. Minimum deposit 10%. Minimum term 6 months .Maximum term 24 months. 0% APR representative
Installment payment plans by Direct Debit
Minimum deposit 10% .Administration charges will be applied following failed payment. Failure to maintain direct debit agreement may result in cancellation of plan and immediate balance payment.
What if the item is faulty? Copplestones Bridal prides itself on the quality of our goods.
All our off the peg are sold as seen .If you think you have identified a fault within 14 days of purchase a senior staff member will assess the dress and advise whether it needs repair. Any repairs are charged at our tailor’s discretion.
Special order dresses are checked on arrival to ensure they are not faulty. If you decide you have discovered a fault within in 7 days of dress collection a senior staff member will assess the dress and repair or replace accordingly.
We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and/or the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. Copplestones can accept no responsibility for dresses damaged outside of the store.
Do you refund or exchange?
Copplestones may exchange a dress within 14 days of purchase at the manager’s discretion. Copplestones may issue a credit note only in exceptional circumstances at the mangers discretion.
Do you provide alterations?
Can I pay cash or card?
Copplestones accepts both cash and card payment. When making balance payments we accept card payment by telephone. Installment plans are available at 0%.
Will you clean my dress?
Special order dresses will not require cleaning but will be pressed for your collection. Off the peg dresses will be steam cleaned if necessary at the manager’s discretion. All dresses will be pressed if required after fitting. If you would like your dress to be professionally cleaned by Copplestones we can do so at a cost of £30.
